You can dial 990 toll-free from any phone in Trinidad and Tobago to reach the Fire Service or Ambulance in cases of emergency.

You can dial 555 toll-free from any phone in Trinidad and Tobago to report any criminal activity. Your call will not be traced and you will not be asked to give your name.

You can call the Coast Guard at (868) 634-4440 to report boating emergencies, accidents or missing vessels. Boaters can contact the Coast Guard on VHF Channel 16 in cases of emergency by repeating the call sign "coast guard control" twice.

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM), formerly the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), is responsible for disaster management in Trinidad and Tobago. You can visit the ODPM website for information on what to do in case of natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, tsunamis or hurricanes. You may also contact one of the offices below.
