Wildfowl Trust

The Pointe-a-Pierre Wildfowl Trust is an inland, freshwater habitat encompassing approximately 32 hectares and 2 lakes, involded in the breeding and re-introduction of locally endangered waterfowl species and other wetland birds into the wild .

The Wildfowl thrust was founded in 1966. It is a national, not-for-profit environmental organization dedicated to environmental education, public awareness and research. It has been described as an amazing eco attraction, uniquely situated within a major petro-chemical and oil-refining complex, making it the only one in the world. The wildfowl trust tour takes you on beautiful nature walk around wetland where peacocks, wild fowls, scarlet ibis and other creatures are in abundance.
