Overview

Showtime Carnival is a band that not only provides entertainment but encourages education on our culture, the awareness of the relationship between mankind, biotic and abiotic factors. Hence Showtime Trinidad “Edu-taines”, by all means while representing the national colours, red, white and black, which in a deep sense symbolizes, the past, present and future, and is tied into every creation produced by the band.

Creatively, Showtime Carnival has successfully presented “Mankind's Fight For Survival” in its first year themed Matrix. In our 2011 theme "Colours of Green", we delegated ourselves to become guardians of the environment, pledging to decrease our carbon footprint via numerous ongoing projects. In the following year, the band unveiled its theme "Species", which displayed the variety and dependence on biodiversity existing.
