This is another one of the unique and quiet beaches in Trinidad, not jus for swimming but is a favorite camp site as well. There are no lifeguards there so night time swimming is discouraged.
This beach is situated on the southwestern side of Trinidad, 0.6 miles into the Granville Road and left onto Coromandel Road. A paved parking facility is also available.
This beach is fitted with a dark tan, soft sandy shoreline and it's water is aquamarine verging on green in color which is clear enough for you to see the sand to the bottom. However with rainfall this is known to cause a bit of stir in the sand causing the water to have a cloudy appearance.
There a are no amenities at this beach but you can use the ones situated at the nearby businesses. Such nearby attractions are the Lighthouse known as "Brighton Range Front", La Bonne Vie Casino, Club Monte Carlo Casino, Sands Casino and Club Regal gambling site to name a few. There is also the town of Granville which is situated (3/4) three quarters of a mile away from the beach.
There aren't any hotels or restaurants nearby this beach, so you may want to pack a picnic basket and coolers for those closing to spend the day or just a simple lunch to take on your trip to the beach.
