This beach is situated on the south coast of Trinidad, it is approximately 4.8 miles from the town of Siparia. It is also part of a newly created Quinam Recreation Park, which is an Eco Park featuring forested nature trails, information center and picnic tables. Quinam beach is one of the more calmer beaches in Trinidad and is ideal for swimming and camping. It is also a less crowded beach which makes for ideal relaxation, with its warm sand a calming breeze. This beach is 1 mile long, with a dark soft fine sand, calm waters with low waves and moderate current. Lifeguards can also be seen on the beach and the waters off-shore can be of good snorkeling quality. Restrooms are also available on this beach which makes it a plus for visitors.
